Focal Blade Mac Version?

Any plan of a Mac version? I'll buy it now, but I do not want to buy a PC too... And all the photographers I know have a mac!
Please let us know!

The work on ColorWasher for Macintosh will begin next week. After that FocalBlade will be ported to the Mac. So it will take some time until FocalBlade for Mac is ready.

The plugin market for the Mac is smaller than that for Windows, so we concentrate on the Windows versions firstly.

I'm still waiting for a Mac version... PC have 1.02, we have nothing. Too sad, considering that Focal Blade is a real must have...

I have focal blade for windows, but I take my 12 powerbook with me on vacation. I would love the mac version of focal blade to edit my photos in the hotel room at night or on the cruise ship.

As soon as you guys have Mac version of both Color Washer and Focal Blade - I'll buy them both. I've switched from Windows to Mac and don't plan on going back.

I use Photoshop CS on my PowerMac G4 and can't imagine going back to using a PC. Get a version of FocalBlade for OS X and you'll have a quick sale. Thanks.

I expect the Mac version of FocalBlade to be released by the end of the year, but I can't promise anything. The Windows version is continuesly updated, so the Mac version will have the same advanced features as the available Windows version.

I write to them from Mexico, I am photographer and usuary of Mac. I have seen with interest products of Photo Wiz. I read the commentaries from the forum and see with taste that has worked in the version for Mac. I hope that soon they esten ready.

Keep those elves on overtime Harald. I used focalblade on PC but switched to mac in august. It's one of 2 programs I miss. The leading noise reduction programs are now on the mac (I own both) but sadly nothing like focalblade. I was close to buying focus magic when I heard the news that FB was close to release for the mac. great news !

Above (July 2004) I wrote that FocalBlade will be ready by the end of the year. Unfortunately I had to switch contractors again. So I guess FocalBlade (as well as ColorWasher) for Mac will need at least until March 2005 before it is ready. But as usual I can't give you any promises.

Anyway, if this new contractor proves to do good work, there will be less delay for Mac versions of our products in future.

As an active Mac user group member and prof. photographer, it's aggravating that certain tools are still not compatible. The fast multiplying legions of Mac users concentrated in the graphic arts constitute a gold mine for developers.
We also spread the word rapidly about quality tools.
Please, put the hammmer down, it will be worth it!

Do you think are still on schedule for a March 2005 release for the Mac version? I just switched from a PC to a Mac and I'm anxiously waiting for the Mac version.

It is still aimed for March at the moment, but with all software releases there is always something that can come inbetween. So please only take such statements as a rough meassure.

Well, here it is the end of March. Do you have any updated outlook for the Mac version of FocalBlade? Have you noticed that this topic has by far the most hits on your forum, with over 3700 hits by people interested in when you will release a Mac version?

Sorry, but the Mac programmer who worked on FocalBlade has to take a leave of absense for personal reason. So we are currently looking for someone else to continue. A series of bad luck...
