Before releasing the first FocalBlade version back in 2003 I had such a slider in the beta versions. I removed it because there was not enough space on the interface and I thought it was not that useful.

You can easily simulate a Fade slider by dublicating the image on a layer before running FocalBlade. After you applied the effect you can use the Opacity control of the layer like a Fade slider.

Anyway, I think I will add a Fade slider to FocalBlade in the future.

Thanks Harald I meant B/W Styler not FocalBlade :-)

Sorry, seems I overlooked the title. Anyway, you can use the same layer technique with B/W Styler.

But you are right. I initially planned a blend feature with a fade slider for producing Bleach Bypass effects, but I decided against it. I don't remember anymore why I removed it, but it certainly is worth thinking about it again.

Thanks for your input!
