Is there any reason why skies in the HDR merge should take on grey artefacts? I notice that if the exposure range is high then there are grey tinges in the blue sky / white clouds.

Please try the Width and Anti-Halo sliders. They should fix the problem. If not, please send me the HDR files as JPEGs so that I can take a look.

Please hold down the Alt key and click on the Cancel/Reset button on the HDR-Combine dialog. With the default slider settings the HDR result should be fine.

highlights = 0
shadows = 100

these produce an acceptable result

Thanks
