Harry's Filters 3.01 and PSP X2 - JPEG only?

If this is the wrong place to ask, I apologise. I received my copy of X2 just a few days ago, and went looking for some plug-ins, free to start with while I get used to the software. I found Harry's, and like what I see very much. However, the plugins are only active in my X2 if I'm working on a jpeg. If I am working on any other format, X2's native pspimage, tif, bmp, Harry's filters are greyed out in the X2 menu. Is this by design, or am I missing something?

Harrys Filters are only working on 8bit RGB images. You need to switch your other images to that mode before you can use Harrys Filters. You can do that with Image > Mode > RGB Color and Image > Increase Color Depth > RGB - 8 bits/channel.
