Postby Frank Severa » Tue Apr 08, 2003 2:04 am

Hi,
I downloaded (today) Harry's Filters (outstanding) and Harry's Edges.

I followed directions and the filters loaded just great. I can not get the edges anywhere , where I can acess them.

I am using PSP -7 windows XP Home

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Please have a look at the Edge Tutorials at http://thepluginsite.com/knowhow/

They give you instructions how to use the edges in various image applications. You need to open one of the edges in your image application to be able to use it. So you need to know to which folder you unzipped them.

This all worked fine for the filters. I have tried several folders for the edeges but no luck. I tried "plugins" "images" "shapes" etc. both in and out of a folder. I can not get them to show up under any title. I can go to "open" go to the folder they are in, select one but then it only shows up as a new image on the screen. I just downloaded new and started all over to no avail.

thanks

Frank

You have to open one of the edges from "Harry's Edges" in PSP by using the "Open" command from the File menu. Additionally you also have to open the image to which the edge will be applied. Then you can use the "Arithmetic" command from the Image menu or "New > From Image" from the Mask menu.

WORKS like a charm, thank you very much.

I am making some images that I like very much from your filters.

Thanks again for ALL the help.
