AutoCAD and PS/PSP
AutoCAD and PS/PSP
I have both Photoshop as well as Paint Shop Pro. Working with architects, I get a lot of AutoCAD drawings sent to me via email. Is there a way that a file with a .dwg extension can be converted so I can open it in either Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro? Since I don't have a CAD program, I can't open any of these files and am hoping I can do something or add in some kind of plugin so that I'll be able to view the drawings using one of these programs.
Paint Shop Pro 7 sometimes can handle dwg files, however the viewing isn't that great, and I think the same goes for Photoshop, since neither of them are vector-based programs.
But, I found this freeware cad editor http://www.tucows.com/preview/284939.html that might help you at least viewing the drawings.

Re: AutoCAD and PS/PSP
Can I get a great job if I take AutoCad classes? There is a local community college that offers a 8 week long course to teach AutoCad. I already have my Business Management bacholors degree but haven't had much success finding a good --------. I'm planning on going back to school this fall to get my Civil Engineering degree. But for now will this AutoCad class open up new -------- options?
Re: AutoCAD and PS/PSP
What CAD systems are they teaching in colleges today? My company will be upgrading our CAD system this year. We have been using AutoCad since the early 90s. I was wondering what they are teaching in the engineering schools these days.
