image size

Postby Delia » Tue Jul 22, 2003 7:53 pm

How can I make a bigger image size using Photoshop 7. I use a 5.2 megapixel camera and when I go into Photoshop, I use the highest quality in the Image Size - but always end up with a 7 x 9 inch image. How can I downsize it to get a 3x5 or 4x6, etc. or get the biggest size image without losing quality in the image?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

To get a 3x5 inch image for print go to the Image Size dialog. Set Resolution to 300 pixel/inch and set the Width fields to inches. Enter 5 in the Width field and press OK.

That's all.
