What is a Plugin?

Post by bferree@cox.net »

HI,

I'm very new at the idea of plugin managers. I have a very long download time with Photoshop. I downloaded the Plugin Commander lite and it doesn't seem to be able to take care of my problem. I have plugins with the .csh, .asl and .atn in the plugin folder under Photoshop 7 and I don't seem to be able to deposit them in the Plugin Commander lite. Please give me some ideas.

Thank you

atn files are Photoshop actions. You have to open them from the menu on the Action palette. asl files are Photoshop styles. You have to open them with the Edit > Preset Manager. csh files are Photoshop custom shapes that have to be opened with the Preset Manager, too.

You can't use these files in Plugin Commander. A future version will probably display some information about them.
