resizing plug-in

Post by bluefish60657 »

Ok, Newbie question. . .
I want to automate a task like taking 100 photos and resizing and output jpgs (from hi to low res to post on a site). Is there a plug-in that will do this while retaining most (or without sacrificing too much quality).

thanks,
bluefish

You can do that in Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Plugin Commander Pro and several other applications. You need an application for this task and not a plugin.

grampi

photo resizing

It's not a plugin, but rather a stand alone batch converter that will do it all and more. I use it all the time and it is awesome. When ever I dump a load of pictures from my digital camera to its' own folder, I immediately create a sub folder called "resized" I then batch convert all photos to 800x600 x75% jpeg to be used when eMailing out photos. The originnals remain intact.. Works Flawlessl!! It's called Advanced Batch Converter 3.9 and you get it here http://www.batchconverter.com/ It also has a try before you buy downloadable version. You will not be dissapointed. :D

I use Express Thumbnail Creator:
