I was just checking out some plugins at: http://www.redfieldplugins.com/
They looked pretty good. Does anyone have an opinion on them?

I have all of them (both the freeware and the shareware versions).
John Redfield's plugin are very good to help you make textures
and add some cool and interesting effects on your images.

Yes, I love them, too. I found that when I have bad pictures that are beyond repair I put them into sketch master & most often can turn them into something artistic.

I've had the Redfield plugins only a few months, and I simply love them. The Sketch Master rescued several of my not-so-great photographs, too. The last time I visited the site, I downloaded Hubbabub's textures for the Redfield plugins, and they're great. It's awfully nice to have the problem of choosing which of several images is the 'final' one, and this has become typical when I use the Redfield plugins.
Here's a link to a page I made to house all the satisfactory results of one project with these plugins. Hubbabub, do you recognize your textures in them?
