Moving Plugins

Postby Allen-H » Sat Apr 14, 2007 12:59 pm

I would like to move my plugins and filters to folders outside Photoshop CS2.
Can this be done with CS2 ? and would I need to move the presets folders and the folder marked “required” as well Thanks in advance

Sorry, I seem to have posted this last year and had a reply previously. Still getting in a mess with the plugin commander ( free version ) though

Yes, you can move your plugins outside the Photoshop Plugins folder. You just need to place a shortcut to the new folder into the Photoshop Plugins folder.

Better leave the Required and Presets folders where they are. I see no reason to move them elsewhere.
