Photoshop Elements 6.0 Newbie Plug-In Question

Postby Vanessa115 » Wed Jul 30, 2008 2:30 am

Hi all,

Sorry for the newbie question, but has anyone had success installing plug-ins for Photoshop Elements 6.0 (Windows XP)? I’ve tried:

1. Putting all of my plug-ins into one folder, “Extras,” and putting the folder in the PSE6 Plug-Ins folder.
2. Putting the “Extras” folder in the “Effects” and then the “Filters” subfolders.
3. Putting the plug-ins loose among the .8bf files in the “Effects” and then the “Filters” subfolders.

Does anyone know what mistake I’m making, and how I can get my plug-ins plugged in?

Thank you very much in advance for your time and help!

Best,
Vanessa

The plugins should show up in Elements if you place them somewhere in the Plug-Ins sub folder of the Elements folder. They can be in any sub folder of the Plug-Ins folder.
