B&W silver gelatin

Postby jrosen » Wed Aug 27, 2008 6:27 am

I am very interested in trying to create digital images that accurately represent silver gelatin images that are produced in the darkroom. Has anyone had success in this area? I have an Epson R2400 printer. Any recommendations for paper to achieve this look?

If you are doing this digitally, perhaps you can create the vintage effect on the image end (on the computer) and simply print the results on any appropriate paper.

See the section entitled "B&W Conversion" in the table here for some plug-in options for creating various vintage black-and-white effects.

Start with PhotoWiz's B/W Styler and go from there.
