PSP 9 and Windows vista assuming that Ihave 64 bit,

Postby paintshopgal » Tue Jun 09, 2009 5:15 am

I am assuming that I have 64 bit as I do have a sysWOW64 folder . I did put the Msvcrt10.dll file into that folder, However I still can not install DSB flux collection on to my system the message I keep getting is this one (URL to MESSAGE picture. I took off my comp.)

Can someone help me please this isnt the only plugin that I get this message with, however it is the same message I get when installing most if not all my plugins... I do and have downloaded the plugin commander but I believe that only works once the plugin is intalled where as these plugins won't even install at all. thanks in advance.

First of all, for DSB Flux you do not need Msvcrt10.dll. But please keep it where you have it now. It will help with other plugins.

I have never seen this message under Vista64. But if the installer works after you press OK, then I would simply ignore it.

It is generally a good idea to install DSB Flux on a system where the installer works and to make a backup of all installed files. Then you can simply copy the files to a system where the installer does not work. That way you do not need to rely on the installer. As far as I know DSB Flux will also work if you simply copy its files to a new system.
