Version 2.01 of PhotoFreebies for Windows was released.   2010 December 24, 2010 Version 1.02 of ContrastMaster for MacOS X was released. A 64-bit version for Photoshop CS5 is also available. November 24, 2010 Version 2 of FocalBlade is available for MacOS X. A 64-bit version for Photoshop CS5 is included. October 18, 2010 New pages were added to the Resources section: Free Lightroom Plugins and Commercial Lightroom Plugins. October 7, 2010 The Standalone/Lightroom versions of all PhotoWiz products were updated. They support color management now. September 10, 2010 Version 1.04 of the free TPS Panel is available. It supports Photoshop CS5 now. September 4, 2010 Standalone/Lightroom versions of all commercial PhotoWiz products are available for Windows now. They seamlessly integrate into Adobe Lightroom and can also be used as applications on their own. September 4, 2010 New updates of all commercial PhotoWiz plugins for Windows were released. Their user interfaces were unified and many improvement were added. August 30, 2010 Version 1.61 of Plugin Commander was released. Several fixes were added for making it work more reliable. July 7, 2010 Version 2.01 of Plugin Galaxy for Windows was released. A 64-bit Windows version is included. May 5, 2010 The Mac versions of the PhotoWiz plugins have been updated with an installer that detects Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. April 19, 2010 Version 2 of FocalBlade for Windows is available now. A Mac version will become available soon. July 8, 2010 Our Photo Galaxy and Abstraction/Mutation products were discontinued. June 29, 2010 The Free Photoshop Plugins page was updated with the latest plugins. April 12, 2010 The Plugin Essentials article was updated regarding Photoshop CS5. January 22, 2010 The Mac versions of all PhotoWiz plugins (except PhotoFreebies) were updated. The updates include a universal binary version and a few bug fixes. ColorWasher for Mac offers some dialog improvements. January 18, 2010 Version 1.6 of Plugin Galaxy AE (for Win/Mac) was released. It supports Intel-Macs and the latest versions of After Effects and Premiere. The manual, instructions and the logo were also updated. January 3, 2010 Version 1.03 of the free ThePluginSite Panel supports the latest plugin versions and possible future ones.   2009 December 30, 2009 Version 1.07 of FocalBlade for Windows and Version 1.04 of ContrastMaster for Windows were released. These are bug fix releases. November 6, 2009 New updates are available for the Windows versions of our FocalBlade, LightMachine, B/W Styler and ContrastMaster plugins. The updates also include 64-bit versions for Photoshop CS4. November 10, 2009 Version 1.02 of the free ThePluginSite Panel for Photoshop CS4 is available. It now supports all demos and old versions of our plugins, avoids display delays and fixes a crash bug. October 3, 2009 The design of The Plugin Site has evolved. The page width is fixed now, there is a new simplified nav bar at the top and the layout of a few pages was changed. We hope you also like the new search feature at the top. The old Know-How section was merged into the Resources section. The Download Center is also improved. But we are not finished yet. The redesign of The Plugin Site is still in progress. September 30, 2009 We released the free ThePluginSite Panel for Photoshop CS4. It lets you run our plugins more conveniently and use the brush tool to apply their effect. September 25, 2009 The winners of the Postcard Contest 2009 were elected. More than 450 postcards from 150 people participated in the contest. July 7, 2009 Version 2.0 of Plugin Galaxy for MacOS X is available. It contains an universal binary version that runs natively on Intel-Macs. May 31, 2009 Version 2.04 of ColorWasher for Windows is available. It now includes a 64bit version for Photoshop CS4 64bit. April 20, 2009: The Plugin Book Giveaway offered three copies of the new plugin book from Lark Books. The winners have already been chosen at the end of May. March 11, 2009: The Postcard Contest 2009 has just opened up. You can win one of 20 prizes worth a total of $3500 by sending a postcard to us. March 2, 2009: Version 2.0 of PhotoFreebies for Window were released. The update also includes a 64bit version for the 64bit version of Photoshop CS4. February 23, 2009: The Plugin Essentials article was updated with information about 64bit plugins. February 5, 2009: Version 1.04 of HyperTyle for Windows was released. It includes enhanced Vista support and an updated installer. February 2, 2009: The installer of Plugin Galaxy 2 for Windows was updated. The Mac OSX version of Plugin Galaxy is now delivered as a .dmg file and not as a .sit file anymore. January 30, 2009: Version 1.02 of ContrastMaster for Windows was released. It includes scripting support. January 28, 2009: The Free Plugins and Commercial Plugins pages were updated.   2008 December 2, 2008: ContrastMaster for MacOS X and FocalBlade 1.05 for Windows were released. October 20, 2008: ColorWasher 2.03 for Windows and B/W Styler 1.01 for Mac were released. September 11, 2008: Version 1.01 of ContrastMaster for Windows was released. It Includes several bug fixes plus a German localization. August 5, 2008: Our new ContrastMaster plugin was released for Windows. It can be used for effective contrast enhancement as well as creating dramatic contrast looks, photorealistic paintings and HDR-like effects. July 24, 2008: The Plugin Essentials article was updated with information on how to use all filter plugins as smart filters in Photoshop CS3. July 8, 2008: The Free Photoshop Plugins page was updated with new plugins. The Polls 2008 page was updates with recent poll results. May 29, 2008: Version 1.02 of B/W Styler for Windows is available. Version 2.01b of ColorWasher for MacOS X was released, too. April 4, 2008: Version 1.02 of LightMachine for Windows is available. February 29, 2008: FM Patcher, a tool for making FilterMeister .8bf plugins Vista-compatible, was released. It is a coproduction of The Plugin Site and AFH Systems. The Plugin Essentials article was updated with with a new "Making FilterMeister Plugins work under Windows XP and Vista" section. January 26, 2008: The Free Photoshop Plugin page was updated with several new plugins.   2007 December 8, 2007: Version 1.03 of HyperTyle was released. The demo version now contains a Freeware main effect which is for free and does not apply a watermark. New Plugin Galaxy 2 tutorials have been added. October 26, 2007: Plugin Galaxy 2.0 for Windows was released. August 24, 2007: The free PhotoFreebies plugins are available for MacOS X now. July 31, 2007: The Free Photoshop Plugin page was updated with new plugins. June 30, 2007: Version 3.01 of Harrys Filters for Windows and Version 1.01 of the PhotoFreebies for Windows were released. Both updates fix compatibility issues with Vista and offer a few enhancements. May 25, 2007: Version 2.01 of ColorWasher for MacOS X was released. A Mac-Intel version (for Photoshop CS3) of ColorWasher is now available, too. April 2, 2007: Version 1.01 of B/W Styler for Windows was released. April 2, 2007: The Mac-Intel versions (for Photoshop CS3) of FocalBlade and LightMachine were released. You can now run them natively on a Mac with Intel processor with increased processing speed. March 26, 2007: The Windows versions of ColorWasher, FocalBlade and LightMachine were updated to fix a bug that occurs under Windows Vista with at least 2 GB RAM. February 13, 2007: The MacOS X version of B/W Styler was released. It runs natively in Photoshop CS3 on Macs with an Intel processor. January 8, 2007: The Free Plugins and Commercial Plugins pages was updated. The Plugins Essentials article was updated with new paragraphs about using plugins under MacOS X and about non-destructive Filtering.   2006 December 29, 2006: The Polls 2006 page was updates with recent poll results. July 29, 2006: Nr. 5 of the Plugin Guide series deals with the Mehdi Plugins and shows you how to achieve three photo effects with them. May 31, 2006: The forth article in the Plugin Guide series deals with the the Xero plugins and shows you how to achieve nice decolorization, motion blur and paint effects. April 25, 2006: Plugin Artists #1, the first article in a new series, starts off with Stefan Gesell who gives an interview and demonstrates how he enhanced one of his photos. It support various new image applications and works more stable now.
