Troubleshooting

You should always let HTML Shrinker create backups to be able to restore the old file, because in some special cases HTML Shrinker may cause an unwanted effect to a web file. If such a problem with a shrunken file occurs, you have three possibilities:

1. You can restore the old file with HTML Shrinker and leave it unshrunken. (This is the easiest possibility.)

2. You can try to find the problem in the shrunken html code and fix it. (This is only an option if you have sophisticated html knowledge.)

3. You can restore the old file with HTML Shrinker, deactivate one or more of the shrinking options in the Options dialog and try to shrink it again. (See below for further instructions!)

In any case please send the original file and a small description of the problem to us. The problem can then be fixed in the next version of HTML Shrinker.
