Warp

The Warp effects add distortions to the texture. Sometimes these distortion effects are not completely seamless at low slider values, but moving the sliders helps to make them seamless. The Warp controls are placed in the middle of the Surface tab sheet. It consists of a combo box and five sliders.

The Warp Effects

There are 14 different warp effects available. Some of them only need the first three sliders, others need all five one.

The first slider controls the intensity of the effect which could also be defined as the density of the warp ripples.

Horizontal / Vertical

The Horizontal and Vertical sliders control the horizontal and vertical orientation of the warp effects. They define the horizontal and vertical amplitude of the waves that the warp effect consists of.

Radial / Angular

The Radial and Angular sliders control the circular and directional orientation of the warp effects. They define the radial and angular amplitude of the waves that the warp effect consists of.
