Compatibility

LayersXXL works under Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP (32-bit & 64-bit).

It requires the following application to be installed:

All menu items and most dialogs of LayersXXL are localized to the language of Photoshop Elements. The options of the LayersXXL Preferences dialog and some messages are displayed in English or German. LayersXXL only works with 8-bit images so far, because they require layer support, which is not available for 16-bit images in Photoshop Elements.

*1 = Photoshop Elements 6-7: The Saturation slider of the HDR-Combine dialog works slightly different, because Photoshop Elements 6 and 7 do not support the Vibrance effect.

*2 = Photoshop Elements 6-10: The Contrast slider of the HDR-Combine dialog works slightly different, because Photoshop Elements 6 - 10 do not support a Curve adjustment layer.
*3 = Photoshop Elements 6-12: The Content-Aware Fill option of the Remove Transparency dialog does not work. Photoshop Elements 13 and higher is necessary.
*4 = Photoshop Elements 6-10: There is no Style Settings icon added to the Layers panel. You have to use the Layers > Layer Style > Style Settings menu item instead.
