Interesting question here

Hi I'm sure there is a plug out there that will do what you want. There is a way to sorta do a good job for free though and you just happen to be at the site where you can download this filter for free. Harry's Filters 3.0 is what you want. Open your photo and hit ctrl+J to dup the background. Then ...

Hi Eye-Lene,
This might help you
when you select the lasso tool, up at the top, just below the menu bar, be sure to click on the second from the left(add to selection) button then just select at will. After the first selection the + sign will be there.
See if this fixes it for you.

Hi There, I opened Mysticial Lighting and used both a JPEG and a PSD file(all layered by the way), to see what you were talking about. I found that I could use the light brush at will. I did have to have an active layer selected though. Are you using this as a stand alone or a plug in? Might make a ...

Hi, I have several of Mr. Rosenman's plugs. I like them fine but I must say, that I have not found a real use for them yet. I have really tried but, they are, in my opinion, very specific in their use. However, I hope he keeps up with his designs, just because I can't find a use for them doesn't mea...

Hi
What I meant with the statement" fill him with black", I was meaning that after you had made the selection of the man or whatever, just fill the selected image with black. You dont need the actual image.

I tried to do this effect myself and this is what I came up with.. I took the main image and duplicated it(ctrl+j), Then I took that layer and selected the man and filled him with black. I then placed that layer below the original layer and then hit (Ctrl+t) to transform the image. I enlarged it jus...

This will leave your image in the middle with grey all around it. Pick a color with your color picker then click on the paint bucket tool. Hold down the shift ke...

Hi, In my experiemce, you could do much better that selecting the Magic Wand Tool. When you use this tool, it judges pixil color and tries to select these colors. This can leave you with a selection that has alot of artifics. A better idea would be to try this.. With your photo open in Photoshop, gr...

Hi, There IS a way to change the background color, I just can't remember it at the moment. When I do(probably at 2:15 tomorrow morning), I will post it here. But, in the mean time, here's what you might try. Go to file/ new, pick a image size larger that what you will be working on and click OK. The...
