Stellar Science has recently released a photoshop file format plug-in that can read National Imagery Transmission Format (NITF). It's pretty robust and supports NITF 2.0, NITF 2.1 and NSIF 1.0 imagery.

A new JPEG 2000 file format plug-in has just been released. It seems to do a better job reading all the JPEG 2000 conformance files then do some of the others. You can check it out here:

Does a great job reading JPEG 2000 images (including ones with bizarre characteristics) but, last time I checked, it couldn't write JPEG 2000 images.
