After working on an image & then trying to save it, sometimes I get a message in PS7 saying, "could not save because that document is currently open." Of course it's open. I was working on it. I save all my work the same way (file/save as/jpg). I only get this message sometimes but then it won't allow me to save any other pics. I only had one file open & I usually have to wait until the next day before it acts right again.
What the x#>! is going on???

Maybe the same document is also open in another application? If that message comes again, try to save it with a different file name.

I didn't have any other program open or even another file so I don't know why it kept doing that. It's happened before. But after taking a little break for a few days it seems to be working fine now. Thanx for your reply.
I don't know where you find the time to help so many people.
