Is there somebody out there who knows if the almost 200$ for the Pipeline ProVTR plugin (RS-422 protocol communication between PC and pro-video decks) and connector-cable is worthwhile and do anything better that the freeware Wsony II program and a normal 9to9 pin com cable couldn't do?
