Auto FX plug-ins updated!

Post by plugsnpixels »

I totally missed this back in late July, but Auto FX (look for product links under their logo) updated their entire plug-in suite for the first time since 2003!

It used to be that the plug-ins were RAM hungry and difficult to use from within Photoshop (as opposed to standalone), but they seem to have been optimized for speed and resource usage and are compatible with Photoshop CS3 now.

It's a joy to be using them again!

If you are a registered user, just download all the updates and uninstall/reinstall.

Thanks for the information, Mike. I wonder why they did not officially announce it. Do they want to keep their image for creating ressource hungry and slow plugins?

A direct link to the updates is here:

Good question, Harald!

Usually this sort of thing is listed on VersionTracker.com, emailed to registered users and communicated via press release.

I need to write my press contact there and see what happened.
