It should work. What does the message exactly say?

Thanks for your reply!
Message: "The specified file cannot be indetified as a supported type"
My question is also: does the colorwasher needs to be used as a plug in, or can it be used independently?

Did you double click the downloaded .exe file to run the ColorWasher installation? Or did you simply move the .exe file into your plugin folder?

ColorWasher is a plugin.

I am not quite sure what you did when installing ColorWasher and before we try to reconstruct everything you did, please try the following:

Run PSP, go to File > Preferences > File Locations > Plugins and add the installation folder of ColorWasher there. This will tell PSP where to find ColorWasher. After several second please look at the Effects > Plugins > PhotoWiz menu. ColorWasher should appear there.

It works!!!!
Now another problem
If downloaded the English version; my PSP x2 is in English version also.
My operating system is in Spanish, and the Colorwasher plugin shows up in Spanish and I rather have the Colorwasher in English....how can I change the Colorwasher plugin in English?
