It crashes ALLWAYS witz bigger pictures. 16-bit from Nikon D3X results in a file witz 140MB. Crashes allways!!
If I resize the image to 15MB it works.
Memory is enough (6GB) and OS 10.6 and Photoshop CS5 64-bit (Version 12.04) and no other App run.
So whats happend?
Any ideas?

Please try to change Photoshop's Memory Usage. For more instructions see the Memory Usage paragraph at:

Sorry, doesn't work.
I've checked out the parameter and (I knew it before that) they will be OK.
Tried also a smaller picture (8-bit with a file size of 63MB (not really big) and the crash replied.
The filter worked untill "two millimeter" before finish and crash. Always at the same moment.
Any other ideas?

Just tried ContrastMaster 1.02 in Photoshop CS5 64-bit and got no crash. The machine has 4 GB RAM and I used a 122 MB 8- bit image and a 244 MB 16-bit image with default settings (Reset button in ContrastMaster).
Maybe you are using special settings. Click Reset and then try again. If a special setting is causing the crash, can you please save a preset file of it and send it to me?
Can you please try running Photoshop CS5 in 32-bit mode and see if the problem also occurs?

Sorry, all done and crash. In 32 also in 64 mode. Reset done.
On my MacPro it works fine. Only on my Laptop not.
Again:
2,4GHz Intel Core 2
6GB RAM
SSD Volume
Not bad machine
Best regards

Do you use the same Photoshop version and MacOS X version on your MacPro? How much RAM and what processor does it have?
