Description

LayerShop offers up to 300 photo and design features for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements for Windows. These features are available as new menu items, icons and dialogs, so they seamlessly integrate into the user interface of Photoshop (Elements). LayerShop upgrades Photoshop Elements with features of Photoshop and bridges the gap between Photoshop Elements and Photoshop. LayerShop also adds many new features to Photoshop. It works with Photoshop Elements 11 and higher as wells Photoshop CS3, CC and higher.

Feature Overview

LayerShop offers tools for performing the following tasks with the help of multiple image files: Denoising high ISO shots, Depth of Field Increase, HDR creation, combining Light Trail photos, preparing a manual composition, multiple exposure effects, panorama stitching, object removal, underexposure fixing, removing details and increasing resolution. There are even 10 action-like task items for doing these things in an automated fashion.

LayerShop also includes a Layer Comp panel for creating and managing layer compositions and Features and Tasks panels for running many features conveniently. Even more, there is a new Style Settings dialog similar to Photoshop's Layer Styles dialog with 5 new layer effects, 15 new blending controls and 90 layer effect options.

Feature Details

LayerShop lets you open multiple files as layers and save each layer as a separate file again. When opening only one file, exposure variations of the same photo are automatically created for HDR production. It can also place all open images as layers into a single document, which is useful when using drag & drop or Lightroom for opening images.

LayerShop offers multiple tools for working with multiple layers. The Auto-Align feature aligns and repositions stacked as well as panorama layers. The Auto-Blend tool increases the depth of field and also stitches panoramas together. The Auto-Expose tool denoises layers, creates multiple exposure effects, combines light trails or night shots and applies other blending effects. The HDR-Combine feature automatically increases the dynamic range with the help of up to three layers. It offers eight sliders for improving the HDR look.

LayerShop feature 12 stack modes including 4 unique ones. The Remove Detail dialog lets you replace a selected area with real image data from other photos. Remove Moving Objects removes people and other moving objects from a series of photos. Super Resolution effectively resizes images by using multiple photos of the same scene. Denoise Layers combines clean pixels from multiple shots and Fix Underexposure brightens images while removing noise and restoring details. The new Fade / Blend Pro tools blend the previous history step or two layers with 36 new blend modes, opacity values up to 200% and many masking controls. Finally, the Crop Transparency tool removes the transparent areas of stacked layers and panoramas, which avoids the necessity of multiple manual cropping steps.

The Layer Comp panel lets you organize and quickly compare different designs or effect variations within one document. You can even automatically save each layer composition to a separate file. The new Style Settings dialog provides Blend If controls for sophisticated masking results. It also includes five new layer effects (Inner Shadow, Satin, Color Overlay, Gradient Overlay and Pattern Overlay) and adds 90 new options to all ten layer effects. LayerShop allows using contours, patterns and gradients for refining the look of the layer effects. Gradients can even be edited and created with the built-in gradient editor. Additionally you are now able to load, edit and save .asl style files.

What Makes LayerShop So Special

LayerShop fully integrates into the user interface of Photoshop (Elements), so it feels like an upgrade to Photoshop (Elements) and not like a plugin. Other products that extend Photoshop (Elements) consist of simple actions or are limited to a dialog that blocks the user interface. So they are far less efficient, easy to use and flexible than LayerShop.

There is no other product that adds Open/Save/Place Layers commands, Auto-Expose, HDR-Combine, Fix Underexposure, Crop Transparency and Blend Pro features options to Photoshop (Elements). Extending the layer styles of Photoshop Elements is also the unique domain of LayerShop.
