PluginMaster is an image editor for Windows featuring a plugin manager for Photoshop-compatible plugins. The plugin manager of Plugin Master looks for all plugins installed on your computer and allows you to organize, tag, filter and manage your plugins and create any number of custom plugin menus in the PluginMaster image editor. The image editor does not support layers, so it only runs Photoshop-compatible plugins that do not require layer functionality like transparency or layer masks. With the help of the included plugin bridge you can run Plugin Master from any Photoshop-plugin-compatible image editor. In PluginMaster you can apply your Photoshop plugins and return the processed image back to your image editor.

PluginMaster was released as a commercial product in 2005 but is no longer under development anymore. The related web site and support has been discontinued as well. With the permission of its developer it is now offered as freeware on The Plugin Site. This freeware version is identical with the commercial version, except that it includes a license generator.

You have to manually create a license key in order to unlock PluginMaster. Please read the included Read Me text file for further instructions. Please note that some plugins may not work with PluginMaster and may even crash it. PluginMaster possibly runs better on Windows XP than on newer Windows versions.
